The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and strong design sensibilities, including creative thinking and problem solving. In order to be considered for this position, candidates will be required to present built and unbuilt projects in their portfolio, describing their experience in managing all stages of a project from concept to supervision.
The position is full-time in Athens office.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and design of architectural and technical plans.
Ensuring all designs comply with government health and safety regulations.
Research and maintain knowledge of various engineering disciplines, application methods and materials.
Monitoring the work of other architects and making recommendations or scheduling workshops as required.
Provide guidance to subcontractors, such as builders, plumbers and electricians, and assist them in interpreting design specifications.
Communicate with clients to ensure that all issues are addressed in a timely manner and that project requirements are met.
Ensuring the team works together to achieve the defined goals and objectives.
Acting as a mentor for young architects and helping them to refine their design skills and improve their knowledge of the industry. Networking and consulting with various professionals in the industry.
Qualifications:
Requirements
At least five years of professional experience
Bachelor's degree in architecture (5 years)
Experience with NOK (Building Regulation) and design processes
Experience in all stages of design and construction
Experience in producing construction documentation and construction support (on site)
Experience in project management, including leading the internal team and liaising with external clients and consultants
Various scales of projects, from Masterplanning to Interior Design
Experience in innovative hospitality and high-end residential projects
Knowledge of the English language
Positively evaluated
Master's degree in Architecture
High level of knowledge of Archicad 2D&3D - BIM & Teamwork
Knowledge of Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite
